Mmmm, I am really sorry, I think you can't do that with this plugin. And thank you by the way for creating an issue report in this old repo, hope this helps you and inspired you.

Here the list of the issue I faced back then and maybe give you inspiration on how to recreate with a better one:
a. Dependencies

• Export as a plugin, so someone can import easily. Consider using NPM or Yarn.
• JQuery is great, but depend on one thing is bad.

b. Menu Creation

• Menu creation should be modular as possible, which never looks at what JS framework you are using, as long as you have the structure, the plugin help create it. Meanwhile, in this version, a structure is created when you pass required data directly with Javascript and you might not be able to customize it as you like.
• The position of the selected menu can be moved as you like. In this issue, I believe this is what you looking for. The large circle needs to be rotated n degrees. Because the large circle is rotated, the 0 point will be changed too, so you need to re-rotate all items (including the selected menu) by n degrees. Sure you need a function to distribute every item to the right position. I don't know if this is the best approach, but only that In my thought. You can read

c. Animation

• Using transform instead of left and right for placement. This approach will give you a bit of FPS boost because you need to use animation to move every item in one circle. Useful Reference
• Using path movement instead point A to B directly. All item movements need to be animated based on the path (the big circle) so you will not see linear ugly movement. You can read here or here for reference.
