Polling does not appear to be working.

I have applied python3 fixes and modified some additional code, everything appears to be working; however, polling does not.

I see nothing in the logs for polling, I have changed the polling interval to 30 (seconds) and I see no evidence that it is working.

Suggestions on further debugging thoughts on what might be going on?

I have seen polling work once so far, this was after flushing supybot. I'm continuing to monitor to determine if it will work again.
