`compiler-explorer-set-compiler` always fail with "Match required" when using vertico

In a clean installation if you install just vertico and compile-explorer and then enable vertico-mode and try to change the compiler in a compiler-explorer session, you are never able to select a candidate (although they are all listed) because vertico will always fail with "Match required".

Hi, thanks for the report.
I was able to reproduce your issue. It only occurs with vertico, not other completion frameworks, so I think the issue is with it. I opened an issue for vertico: minad/vertico#645. Leaving this one open for a while until the one in vertico is confirmed.

The bug is confirmed in vertico, closing this one. I think the author of this package should fix the issue on their end.
