Auto start in nightmode

Hello,
I've seen several people in the same situation as me in some Facebook groups.
I have a Dude'sCab (others have pinscape) and I always start in NightMode, but when I want to switch to normal mode, Pinvol switches to nightmode... and so it generates a big conflict

Is there a way to make it start in nightmode (modify the .ini or something), or maybe add in a future update an option to automatically activate nightmode when launching Pinvol?

Could you give me some more detail about the exact steps involved? I want to make sure I understand what PART of the system is in Night Mode and what isn't at any given time through this process. If you could identify each subsystem and what it thinks the mode is at each step, and each manual step you're performing along the way, that would help me understand what you're trying to do.

Of course. I'll speak from my own experience:

I own the Dude's Cab by Arnoz, and I'm using SSF 2.0.
I've configured my Dude's Cab to always start in Night Mode. So, it's me who presses a button to switch it to Normal Mode, which activates all the mechanical toys (flippers, slingshots, gear fan, bumpers, etc.). If I press the button again, it obviously does the opposite, switching back to Night Mode.

Now, I'm adding and configuring PinVol:
I've set up automatic startup for the various programs needed for Pinup Popper, and of course, I've added the automatic launch of PinVol.

So, when I start Windows and I'm in Pinup, if I press the button dedicated to Night Mode connected to the Dude's Cab to activate my toys, PinVol switches to Night Mode (the blue Night Mode overlay appears), while naturally, all my mechanical toys activate, except my SSF, which has its volume lowered.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, because the ultimate goal is the following:
When PinVol launches automatically at Windows startup, my SSF volume should be reduced, and when I press the NM button to switch to Normal Mode, the blue Night Mode overlay should not appear, and the sound of my SSF should increase.
That's why I thought that if there was an option in Pinvol to be in nighmode when pinvol was launched, that might be a solution. But maybe there's a technical constraint.

The way this is handled if you're using a Pinscape device is that PinVol queries the current status from the device, so that the device serves as the source of truth for night mode status. If Dude's Cab has its own night mode setting like this, my preference would be to make PinVol use the same strategy there. Maybe you could talk to Arnoz and request that he creates a PinVol pull request implementing that?

(You can point him to PinscapeDev.cs in the PinVol source. That's where the Pinscape interface is implemented, and it probably can serve as a starting point for adding support for other USB devices.)
