sometimes media doesn't upload properly

Media sometimes won't upload properly. There seem to be some issues with consistency and resiliancy on the media sync part of the uploading process.

Testing needs to be done to further identify the problem.

There was an issue with server/DB inconsistency in the cast posting part which was fixed in df7e640. There's also an issue where media won't retry to be posted if it fails the first time.
