remote-cert doesn't work on CentOS 5.9

Current https://github.com/mislav/ssl-tools/blob/master/remote-cert doesn't work on CentOS 5.9 64bits ： echo | openssl s_client -connect : 2>&1 | sed -nEe '/^-+BEGIN/,/^-+END/p'

But the following code works well

echo | openssl s_client -connect : 2>&1 | sed -n '/-+BEGIN/,/-+END/p'
