So, I think this utility is great, but of course, some things are missing, and I'd like to contribute to improve the library for everybody interested.

Not as actively as I'd like to be, but I'm keeping an eye on it. If you're interested in contributing, please open PRs on a fork and I'll review them!

Is there something like a roadmap? If not, I wanted to start contributing by building Elixir-style docs for the lib, what do you think of it?

There is not a roadmap, outside of the graphviz documentation. This library was originally made to fill a need I had for another side project, so it was very ad hoc. Documentation would be a fantastic first step, and certainly make it easier to determine what features are missing!
