Enable webcam mode without starting screensharing

This is great, I've been trying to find something that would let me record directly into Nextcloud :)

But in my case it's usually from the camera rather than screensharing. Camera recording works well, but when starting a new roll, it's disabled until I select a screen/window/etc to share. Only once I start screensharing can I switch to the camera.

It would be much more convenient to be able to choose the camera straight away (or set it to default?)
