I find this question to be confusing (maybe I'm just not clear on what a probability function is). I thought each P(X) was a probability function, so when I read "prove the following probability function is invalid" I thought I was asked to prove each of the 4 P(x) statements invalid, not all of them as a whole, and didn't know how to proceed and had to check out the solution.
