Hi, I recently came across this project and wondered if you would like to collaborate.
I'm the author of @perry-rylance/midi and am very interested in making this available through the browser in a Codepen style sandbox.
My library focuses on robust event handling with guiderails that keeps developers within the realms of valid MIDI.
I can see you've got some outstanding work to do on SysEx events in particular, I'd be happy to help by integrating if that interests you.
