Agent sessions: foreground, background, remote, extensions

For the agent sessions view I am asking for icons for:

• local chats (foreground)
• local chats (background)
• remote chats (padawan)
• extensions (Codex, Claude)

Here is what I use today: a mix of window, windowServer, cloud and terminal:

Wasn't completely familiar with these concepts (and context) however I generated some icons for discussion below:

note: for extension (Codex, Claude), I'm suggesting we use existing codicon 'extensions'

Thank you. I am actually quite happy with the existing icon for remote: the ☁️ because that seems to be an acceptable icon for something that runs online.

As for foreground vs. background I wonder if the difference is a bit too subtle?

The foreground & background icons look almost inverse - I would expect the solid color to be the active chat

I like the cloud one a lot, however by just viewing the icons

I don't know which one is foreground or background

What about a solid chat bubble for foreground & a dashed outline chat bubble for background?

Yeah love the ideas for background, agree it needs to be more distinct, please keep ideas coming here and then we can move to trying out in the real build!
