[13.2 Docs] Add migration guidance for Connection Property Suffix breaking change #413

Description

Summary

Aspire 13.2 introduces a breaking change where a connection property suffix has been added. This may require updates to code that accesses connection properties directly. There is currently no migration guidance in the reference documentation.

Current State

  • The breaking change is mentioned in whats-new/aspire-13-2.mdx under the ""Breaking changes"" section (""Connection property suffix changes"") but with minimal detail.
  • No reference documentation explains what changed, what code patterns are affected, or how to migrate.

What's Needed

  1. Expand the breaking change section in whats-new/aspire-13-2.mdx with:

    • A clear explanation of what the suffix is and why it was added
    • Before/after code examples showing the old vs. new behavior
    • Which APIs or patterns are affected
  2. Add migration guidance — either in the what's new page or in a dedicated migration section:

    • Steps to update existing code
    • How to identify affected code in a project
    • Any compatibility shims or workarounds
  3. Update relevant reference docs if connection properties are documented elsewhere (e.g., in the AppHost configuration or resource model documentation).

Context

  • Breaking change introduced in Aspire 13.2
  • Listed in whats-new/aspire-13-2.mdx section: ""Connection property suffix changes""
  • Users upgrading from 13.1 to 13.2 need clear guidance on what to change
