Performance - Temporary Tables, Lists, and Dictionaries

A guide on performance tuning through the use of Temporary Tables, lists and dictionaries would be good.

Temporary tables are great, but do also have the downsides of

• Events may trigger
• Are Tree objects under the hood, so do have a max count threshold
• Fields, if the table isn't purpose built, can add significant overhead.

So, a guide on these would be good.
