Repro Steps
Work on C++ code in WSL for a while, maybe let the computer sleep and/or hibernate, while leaving a terminal open as well as an VScode-based editor connected to the WSL workspace.
Expected Behavior
Everything should continue working

Catastrophic failure
Error code: Wsl/Service/E_UNEXPECTED
This has happened three times over the past week. It can be fixed with a wsl --shutdown, but it's quite annoying that my editor session is and I have to close all of my terminals in my multiplexer to reboot wsl.
Probably a dupe of #13159.
Diagnostic Logs
Both of these logs say something about protocol errors in windows performance analyzer:
