Logs are required for review from WSL teamIf this a feature request, please reply with '/feature'. If this is a question, reply with '/question'. How to collect WSL logsDownload and execute collect-wsl-logs.ps1 in an administrative powershell prompt: The script will output the path of the log file once done. If this is a networking issue, please use collect-networking-logs.ps1, following the instructions in Collect WSL logs for networking issues Once completed please upload the output files to this GitHub issue. See Collect WSL logs (recommended method). If you choose to email these logs instead of attaching them to the bug, please send them to wsl-gh-logs@microsoft.com with the GitHub issue number in the subject, and include a link to your GitHub issue comment in the message body, and reply with '/emailed-logs'. |

This is a Linux subsystem for Windows, it allows you to run Linux things on Windows. I installed this WSL just now on Windows. The name should be LSW and when on Linux you install a Windows subsystem that would be WSL.
I probably lack the history behind the backward naming logic, but from where I see it, we could look at Witcher Disc for XBOX or Witcher Disc for PS - so a thing that is meant to be run on another thing. This is how it sounds to me when I read it. I might have some logic problem if both GPT and Claude try to convince me I am seeing it wrong even if they are trained to agree with me so, just close this after reading, it is some kind of curiosity probably.
