Don’t machine-translate

I just got the new WSL settings app. It’s somehow in German even though my Windows is set to English (US). Bad enough, but whatever—Windows doing Windows things. The German translation is chock-full with the most ridiculous translation errors. There’s no point in listing them either. It would be easier to point out what’s not wrong.

My suggestion: Just stop. If you do not have human translators, do not translate. (That being said, both DeepL and ChatGPT do a better job than whatever was used here.)
