chrome.action.setBadgeText() results in very small text in lastest MSEdge

My Microsoft Edge has been updated to Version 143.0.3650.66 (Official build) (64-bit) and the badge text in toolbar has became very small and hard to read.

This is in lastest Edge This is in Firefox

Previouslly the text is as large as in Firefox, but it suddenly gets too small to read in a 24 inch 2560x1440 display. I've tried use winareotweak.exe and restored all appeareance changes. And also deleted all keys in HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics. But these won't help,

The Copilot says the Chromium 143 branch which changed UI rendering causes this issue, but the reference links are not related to this issue, anyway to fix this?

PS: the icon seems to be smaller either, there's more padding in menubar and icons

My system specification is as below, the version of Microsoft Edge is Version 143.0.3650.66.
Edition Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC
Version 21H2
Installed on ‎2/‎25/‎2023
OS Build 19044.6575

we got update from the internal team that the padding and icon size in the toolbar were visually refreshed to create a more compact and efficient interface. This change was aimed at improving usability and reducing visual clutter. Thanks for your understanding.

I've asked others to test for me (the one in my last issue). He is using Windows 11, and result of setBadgeText() is normal? At least not that small as me.

I wonder if this issue only occurs in Windows 10?

@jc3213 This is change in Edge Browser. It is applicable for Win 11 too.
