Description
USB-C with Power Delivery: The most straightforward way to charge your phone and use OTG devices at the same time.
Use a USB-C hub with a PD port. toggle between charging-only and charge-and-data modes .
As phones have standardised with USB-C it would be good to have a custom electronics solution that expands this project that supplied power for phone charging via the usb port. To make a product that can plug into any supported phone with out needing to modify the phones internal power is needed.
Facilitating 24/7 peripheral support and phone charging in the case of power out UPS.
Direct wired connection is needed because it is simpler and industrially more robust that a Bluetooth connection the only other current method of communication between a peripheral device and the mobile phone.
