Model Lights loading problem

Hello I was trying to import point and spot lights from glb model.
After import I noticed their range is set to null while intensity in way too high...
In blender one of models had point light of about 3 meters and 500 wats, in intelij via debug I noticed imported model had range as null and intensity about 2500+

Hi, there were some fixes and changes in Blender exporter about light luminosity conversion (eg. KhronosGroup/glTF-Blender-IO#2554) this recent fix is not in latest version apparently...

I checked my code and I forgot i added a nasty fix long time ago at the time the exporter didn't any conversion at all. See https://github.com/mgsx-dev/gdx-gltf/blob/master/gltf/src/net/mgsx/gltf/data/extensions/KHRLightsPunctual.java#L69 where i divided by 10 which is an arbitrary value. So your original value is even higher : 27125.

The easy way to workaround the issue for now would be to patch these values manually in your code after loading or exporting as gltf (not glb) and change values manually in the file.

I keep the issue open because my dirty code will need to be updated when Blender exporter become stable about this conversion.

About the light range, radius is not the right parameter. Blender has another parameter called Custom distance which is the value exported.

I tried making point lights programmatically, and does setting range actually influence anything ?

Side note:
Also is it possible to tell importer to for example don't import metalness and rougness? (if I am not mistaken I have those as 2 separate textures and not as 1 - from ambientcg)
Long story short materials I have seam bit too reflective.

currently, light range is used to cull lights when they are far from camera. It's mainly used for large scenes when you have a lot of lights at various places and have them automatically removed at render time.

for material options, you can always tweak your material properties after loading : eg. by setting matallic and roughness factors, or even removing some textures. But the best way IMHO is to import in Blender, fix it and export again.
