Unable to scan document while connected remotely via citrix

Unable to scan a document with below configuration

Scanner -> remote PC -> citirx -> scan workstation.

In this configuration, while running ScanApp, able to select scanner also, load capabilities. After clicking start scan, twain state changed to 5 and stops. After start of scan, only way to stop is to kill scanapp from task manager.

OS - Win10 on both remote pc as well as scan workstation
.Net framework 4.5.2

Potential issues:

1. twain state do not change to 6 (Transfer ready
2. ScanApp goes into hung state
