Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Over time, the drop-in monster tokens promoted in Simple5e have become outdated. I really like their breadth and how they 'just work', but the rules have changes sufficiently that they need significant customization to be used with the updated DnD ruleset. After 5-6 years, its time to consider alternatives to include in the current framework - perhaps JMR's Monster Maker.
Describe the solution you'd like
If possible, a replacement should match or exceed the current Addon5e in the following ways:
- Easy to get started. Since the Library token is built into the framework, the only required step is downloading the tokens. From there, they 'just work' as long as the library is retained.
- Fast to use during play. With the downloaded tokens in the Resource Library, creatures are a quick search away. When browsing, the folders are organized by monster type which is useful for selecting creatures when improvising - not bad!
- Easy to customize. The current monster tokens don't use all the same properties as Simple5e and have their names and features hard coded into descriptions. They work great for one-off encounters, but require conversion to work seamlessly with the framework for long term play.
- Respect copyright. @bobifle's tokens reasonably respect copyright while providing useful tokens for personal use, declining to include some images in the downloadable token set which third party creators didn't want in there.
I'm also interested in retaining a crisp distinction between 2024 and 2014 DnD stat blocks / monster tokens in light of #45, which might end up looking like framework variations between the two.
