Description
Examples include:
- Voting Machines: where the voter is the end-user, but there are also secondary users such as administrators, technicians, developers,
- Tabulation Technologies: specifically that take paper ballots, count and aggregate results; users are the election staff hired to tabulate and count the vote
- Transmission Service: where the votes are eventually shared and communicated with State officials
- Voter Registration Databases: each state maintains their own database of valid voters, how are these protected, are these integrated into any other systems (such as voting machines, absentee voting, etc.)
- Absentee Systems (mobile, online, fax, etc.)
- Supportive Technology, technology used to assist volunteers, staff, and other administration of elections such as google forms [X], applications [X], “air gapped” computers, etc.
