Description
Environment:
- MEGA app Version(s): 16.16
- OS Version(s): 18.5
- Devices/Simulators: iPhone 13 Mini
Describe the bug
The filter for "Upload albums synced from iTunes" is not functioning as expected.
It is supposed to not upload albums that have been synced from iTunes, but it is currently uploading them anyway.
According to https://github.com/meganz/iOS/blob/master/iMEGA/Camera%20uploads/UploadUtils/Categories/PHFetchOptions%2BCameraUpload.m, these photos should be not adding the PHAssetSourceTypeiTunesSynced type. However, they are still being uploaded.
Reproduction Steps
Add the different steps to reproduce the behavior.
- Check in Photos app the number of overall photos (~17.500 in my case).
- Check in Photos app the number of photos synced from iTunes (~12.500 in my case).
- Activate Camera Uploads in MEGA app with the "Upload albums synced from iTunes" turned off.
- Check upload status: More than 17.500 photos are in pipeline for upload.
- The uploads do not seem to start. This might be related to Feature request: show camera uploads pending files #71 or just because the app is overwhelmed with the number of photos to upload. It is also terribly slow.
Expected behavior
Only upload photos that are not synced from iTunes.
Ideally, only new photos should be uploaded, see #126
