data corruption in `less` and `more`

Both less and more corrupt hard tabs to spaces during pagination, in macOS, and likely other operating systems and shells as well.

Check for (ideally hyperportable) configuration options to get them to stop doing that.

If necessary, find or publish alternative paginators that don't have this problem.

Applying common -F -R --mouse options to less.

This fixes mouse scrolling, though it breaks highlighting.

The same behavior applies to very many alternative pagers.

Having to remember not to attempt to copy from less output :/
