Tabs font change?

Hello,

With the latest version I have to turn on 'Allow pages to choose their own fonts' for my changing of the tabs font to work. I don't really wish to do this. I have set my desired tab font in the Appearance settings and the Styles editor, but neither work without the above set. For now I have reverted to the previous version but obviously would like to stay up to date if possible.

Is there an alternative to switching on that setting? I do not know if this is a bug, something I have done wrong, or intentional. Thank you for your work.

Yes, changed from sans-serif to system-ui. You can change font with the "Default font-family" setting (in Sidebery settings / Appearance).

I did set it here and in Styles. I can only get this to take effect if I allow pages to choose their own fonts though, which did not used to be the case and what I am trying to avoid.

Hm, it seems Firefox applies disabled "Allow pages to choose their own fonts" setting to addon's sidebar and limit the options to the selected fonts (Proportional, Serif, Sans-serif, Monospace).

It recognizes the default system-ui as "Proportional" and uses the configured font (Serif / Sans-Serif) and previously it always used the Sans-Serif variant. So to return the previous behavior set "Proportional" option to "Sans Serif".
