iMessage Matrix Not Receiving Message with Media

I received a message that was a collection of 8 photos and 1 video. The message was received fine by my iPhone, Mac Mini, and Bluebubbles (verified by querying BB API).

This is how the message looked in my Mac:

However my iMessage Matrix did not receive the message. Is this message a special type that the iMessage Matrix can't handle?
