Temporary Hours?

Hey Matthew, thanks again for all your help so far. I've made a lot of progress on various fronts!

One thing I'm unsure about is the command from mmps called TemporaryHours. It works, but I'm not sure what it is. I suspect it may be as advertised: a temporary piece of code you had in for an experiment? I'm wondering if I should just remove it from the codebase.

It's to do with the sundial feature I added at some point: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~arcus/mmps/sundial.html - "temporary hours" divide the time between sunrise and sunset into 12, so the hours aren't of fixed length. I wouldn't be offended if you didn't include sundials in your port.
