I like your theme, still I think there are many misterious files for those who are not familiar with ruby.
It would be cool if you write in the readme.md file a quick how-to use in our own project.

For example , I'm setting my own jekyll site (I'm a beginneer on jekyll) and I guess I'll get your theme working by copying fonts and css files. Still I'm not sure.

if you had this how-to I'll be 100% sure on the steps instead of guessing and making mistakes.
