Android 9.0 Pie Support

Hello, I have noticed that any media or content app pauses in background, even WebTube that has implemented that function. Pls would you kindly check what changes could be causing this? Ty, idk anything ab android internals. I'm just reporting that this function implemented explicitly on WebTube is not working but it is related generally to Android 9.
