Some keys does not work as MOD

Intro

I want to use ç as my MOD/Prefix key, I've tried with no success:

 dvtm -m ç
 dvtm -m 'ç'
 dvtm -m "ç"

I tested and didn't work any of this keys: çÇñÑ`ºª¡¿€¬.
Sure there are more that useful on some other international keyboards (I only need the first one).

Motivation

• dvtm works in my smartphone when connected with adb shell (tmux and screen does not work there).
• I have many years using multiplexers like tmux.
• I like to use suckless tools and I want to test this as main terminal multiplexer.

I usually map ç as my Prefix/MOD key in tmux:

• Is available in my Spanish keyboard.
• Don't need a modifier key (Control, Alt, Shift).
• Is not used in my first language.
