widget drag/drop issue

hi I am having an issue with the widget area - after install my widget drag & drop area is all locked up...can not drag widget to enable. If i disable plug in then all widget area works again. I can't enable widget. Is there a work around in order to hard code it into the template theme and enable it outside the plugin?

Hi rvan. Thanks for trying out the widget. Can you tell me what version of WordPress you're trying to use it with and even the theme?

You can certainly hard code this into your theme if you wanted - by copying the HTML in the wordphone PHP file however this should work with your theme.

Is it possible for you to show me and let me test in your development environment? It would save me time trying to duplicate your setup.

In hard coding, could I not simply make a php call in the theme template, or is it just the html that I need to use...where would I place my API key?

Hi marks - I have sent you an email to your personal address re/ access to test in my site development environment.

I have successfully added the widget to a fresh WP site install that is running theme "Twenty Ten" with 2 Widgets enabled, using WordPress version 3.0.1. I will enable one by one, widgets ect. to try and emulate my live site - when and if I hit the conflict I will report details back here.

I did a few phone tests - the computer I am using at work has no mic or speakers, but did connect and held for as long as I wished until I hung up. So, it does appear to be working for cell and land line connections to Canada...I did not try any VoIP connections yet, When I get home I will retest to ensure all is well before I continue trying to sift out the plugin conflict.

Hi there again. The issue seems to be the jQuery version my plugin requires from the Google AJAX API. I commented out line 29 and 30 of http://github.com/marks/wordphone/blob/master/wordphone-widget.php for your installation of the plugin and it seems to fix the drag/drop issue. Can you test the plugin now?

Like I said in the email, I hope to work with some more seasoned wordpress plugin developers to figure out the jQuery dependency.

Hi, thank you for figuring that out - I got it live on the site, however
it hangs on loading. The call button just keeps saying "loading". Any
thoughts? on my other test site it all work perfect.

Hi Robert,

I am actively working on a fix. I thought it was fixed but found out recently that was not the case. Look out for a new fix soon. You can also try updating the PHP file to the one here on GitHub. It may solve your problems right away.
