Lasso selection/virtual challenge enhancement: add ability to precisely select tasks within a custom polygon

What would you like to see?

Apart from drawing arbitrary areas on the screen, offer the ability to use a custom polygon ( geojson, and other formats?) to precisely select tasks within the challenges

Why is this useful?

Also, by adding some buffer (0.02 degrees) to the polygon or multi-polygon, it provides users a more precise way of selecting tasks for a specific area of interest.

I imagine that feature is also useful in the context of creating virtual challenges, combining several different challenges that a user can select, to allow contributors to work on several (related?) challenges for a given area.

Hey govvin, if you look in the challenge edit form, there is an area where you can add priority bounds. You can add them via lasso or by adding a geojson file that has pre made polygons... Is this the type of functionality you are wanting? Being able to link or drag a geojson to use for selecting tasks?

Hi @CollinBeczak ! Yes, I'm looking for something functionally similar but available for users in the context of virtual challenges.

Also, hopefully, with the ability to encompass tasks across multiple projects/challenges? It sounds like this makes some sense when users are looking to complete multiple (different) challenges at the same time.
