I went through the logs.
Seem like correct packet is sent when you change ANC level and Ambient Sound Level.

I refered to gadgetBrigde app code for this. Also GalaxyBudsClient app (although GalaxyBudsClient app has only a switch for this setting I believe, on/off)

Can you test with samsung OEM app and see if the ANC level and ambient sound level works? and compare the behavior with BudsLink. There have been report some firmware break ANC level but recent firmware fixes it.

Also curios, Are all settings visible in Configure . Or are some settings missing?

Just a note. I ported the code to Gnome extension too.

Whenever you are testing. If you testing extension. Close the BudsLink app, or else there would be conflict in bluetooth socket.

To test, run the installer, logout and relogin.
In preference enable Samsung Galaxy Buds.

After checking once again, Intensity sliders do work as intended, must've been some kind of error on my side. In media controls I have fewer options

but it seems to be on par with what the android app is offering. From what I checked, the options work fine too. I will get back after testing the extension. If it would help, I can also test both app and extension with buds 2, buds 3, and maybe 2 pro and fe

I installed the extension and it works great. Both earbuds report battery level and changing between modes and settings works too. Only conversation awareness toggle is swapped. Off position turns it on and vice versa. Besides that, extension works excellently

• I have fixed the conversation awareness toggle is swapped issue.
• Also added a feature Find My Buds.

For now just test the Gnome extension with all other earbuds you have.

If any issue persist logs are available at /tmp/bluetooth_battery_meter/service.log

App needs a lot of work, so when its is ready, we can test just one model later. But for now I think would be pointless.

Sorry for the delay but I had to catch up with my finals.

Within these few weeks I used the extension with buds 3 pro almost daily, and I haven't found any issues. I also tested with buds 2 and 3 for a short time and did not find any issues here too. One small thing is that buds 3 in android app only have OFF and ANC mode, no transparency (because of the open design they don't have this feature implemented) but both extension and buds link allow it to be switched to transparency, and it does nothing. Also second thing, buds 3 pro on android allow to switch between off and transparency with one earbud in, only ANC and adaptive modes are inaccessible.

On the last note I would also suggest adding Find my Buds button to quick menu in extension so there wouldn't be need to dig around settings for it

I have pushed and update. Need some more testing. Only noise control code is changed, so just test noise control.

• Displays noise control buttons: Anc and Off
• Noise control buttons should hide when:
  • One earbud is removed
  • Both earbuds are removed
• Noise control buttons should show when:
  • Both earbuds are in-ear

Tests

• Switch between Anc and Off
• Remove one or both earbuds → verify buttons are hidden
• Insert both earbuds → verify buttons are shown

• Remove one earbud → verify Anc is hidden

• With both earbuds in-ear → verify Anc is shown

Playback behavior

Does this work?
Can you also post results of all 3 mode?
It should play and pause media, depeding on in-ear status,
If it does not work at all, or pause and play works in Default mode, than I will have to remove the settings.
Test with any one of the earbuds.
