I have been testing my wh-1000xm3 with your code using gjs-console -m main.js . I am using with rpi5 but with no gnome .. only i have installed required dependences libadwaita-1-dev .

Some things are working .. Others not...

If you need i can do more tests ...

Yes sure. List the items / Feature that are not working

When you run the script it creates a log folder and files.

Zip and Upload the folder so that I can trouble shoot.

I have reviewed the logs.
But nothing was set toggled or clicked or change. Only the initialization of headset, and seem to have no error.

And also try to activate the feature that are not working.
Example. if Equalizer does not work. Move the slider or set preset. this will send SET_EQUALIZER packet and the headphone will respond it NOTIFY_EQUALIZER packet. These packets will be logged. I need to analyze these packets.

Also if any features missing, and you need to add them, let me know. Although it will take a lot of testing from your side.

Voice notifications i think is not working, enabled but no effect.
Ambient mode not possible to select.
ANC mode ambient not working.
Auto power off when take off , there is no sensor on the headset. not working.
Auto power off when take time , this option does not appear on the menu.
Equalizer six bands , can select but no effect
DSEE can select but no effect.

Thank you for the update. I discovered that the script for the SonyV1 branch had not been updated after we moved the implementation into the extension, which caused the script code to become outdated. As a result, several features were not functioning correctly.

Rather than repeatedly porting and fixing code between the extension and the standalone script, I implemented a wrapper around the extension code. This allows the same logic/code to be reused in both contexts without maintaining separate code paths, and enables testing through both the GJS script and the extension while ensuring functional parity between them.

Another note:

• The script no longer requires manually specifying a MAC address; compatible Bluetooth devices are detected automatically.
• Multiple devices are supported.
• You may need to install pulseaudio-utils and/or pipewire-pulse (when using PipeWire), as the script requires the pactl command to function.
