Plugin doesn't launch

Failing to start
After installing the plugin (version 6.0) the plugin launch an error when trying to use:

Calling 'BD_start'...
Compilation of 'C:\Users\jrausell\AppData\Roaming\cYo\ComicRack Community Edition\Scripts\Bedetheque Scraper 2\BedethequeScraper2.py'
sequence item 0: expected bytes or byte array, str found

If I try to configure the script it gives another error:

Calling 'ConfigureBD2Quick'...
'ScopeStorage' object has no attribute 'ConfigureBD2Quick'

Settings
Didn't change anything from the initial configuration.

Maybe related to your App.Config file, because I don't have this error. Post your App.Config and try loading it with it deleted. Also post the error from your debug log file.

Also trying to run another command after a script has given an error somewhere will always fail. So if you tried to run the config after the first error than the error message is invalid, it's pretty much a generic error. You will need to restart ComicRack completely and try again. Post the result of the config just by opening only it. Does it give an error?

Also does it do it on specific books only? Again if you have an error restart ComicRack before trying again.

You could also try to reinstall it, sometimes ComicRack doesn't install correctly on the first try.

There doesn't seems to be any file App.Config. I've tried deleting, restarting, installing and restarting again and still the gives the same error. I'm looking in "\AppData\Roaming\cYo\ComicRack Community Edition\Scripts\Bedetheque Scraper 2". Should I check in any other folder?

There should be a couple of line after the error like:

This gives the line number where the error happen, which is very important to find out what the error is. Just this gives me 0 information.

Like I said have your tried only loading the configuration from a fresh ComicRack instance (don't use the plugin normally first). If you have any error completely close and restart ComicRack, then post if there are any changes.

Also have your tried completely removing the plugin and reinstalling it? What I can tell you is that on a fresh install (and even one with a previous version) there are no such errors, so if you start fresh you should have no problems. If you still have errors then something else is happening.

Make sure to always restart ComicRack completely, especially when there are errors, this is very important. Check if it's not hung in the task manager for example. Check if there are no files in the Scripts/.Pending folder.
