Netlify Issue: Can't add images I've u/l'd to post?

Maybe it's a permissions thing?

I can upload but the image shows up as a blank on the post... is this "normal"?

I've tried a few different ways.

Also noticed that when one image uploaded, it came in sideways/rotated?

Here's another iteration - trying to add an image to the home page and I get this weird error when I try to save, which perhaps is related? Obviously the image isn't uploading either here.
