This thread is to be used for Feature Requests only.
I feel like weather alerts, such as ones issued by the NWS (Tornado Watch/Warning, Severe Thunderstorm Watch/Warning, ect.) should be ran at the bottom of the screen where the current crawl is, and even as its own slide coming before or after the locations current conditions. The background color of the Crawl and Slide should also reflect whether it's a watch or warning (Yellow for a Watch, Orange for a Special Statement, and Red for a Warning). A chime or cue sound could be played to alert the viewer as well.
The five/seven day forecast, along with the hourly forecast should be shown as a slide in the main portion of the screen, just like in the real Weatherscan, showing after the doppler radar's slide.
(An experimental idea: Widescreen compatible [16:9], showing an extra sidebar on the right side of the screen, showing popular travel destinations with their current conditions, condition icons, and temperatures. If the user doesn't desire this, it may be disabled in the configuration files [sidebar.js for example])
