Sniffing problem on vmware player after switching from ethernet to wifi on host

Hello,
meter itself isn't working though internet is on the virtual machine (i can get updates including for the meter),
though i have nothing displayed in the meter no matter what i tried.
I reinstalled npcap (confirm administator was unticked and also ticket the raw box for wifi adapter).
Can confirm from command prompt that the npcap service is in fact running.

It might be due to a difference in configuration between the two physical adapter on the host but i can't confirm that since i cannot debug the virtual machine (i checked on the host and i saw no difference, network is bridged).

Any idea on how to debug this?
Currently parsing the code to see how the bible is plugged into npcap but it's gonna take me a while.
