Request object on Index.html

I am using this package and I want request object on index.html so that I can have username(under request) on the generated documentation and I could use {{ request.user }} on index.html

This package uses sphinx to render it's templates, not the django templating engine, so I don't see how this would be possible.

Basically, the whole thing is a wrapper around django.views.static.serve.
