Altyo stuck in fullscreen on i3-wm

Unexpected behaviour when using Altyo in fullscreen in i3.

To reproduce:

1. Hit your Altyo toggle key to show Altyo.
2. Hit your i3 fullscreen key combo (default is something like Mod+F) to show Altyo in fullscreen mode.
3. Hit the Altyo toggle key again to hide Altyo.

Now Altyo will be stuck in fullscreen mode, so if you hit the Altyo toggle key again it will show Altyo in fullscreen and you will not be able to un-fullscreen it using the i3 fullscreen key combo. Only solution is to restart Altyo.

Versions:
Binary i3 version: 4.12 (2016-03-06, branch "4.12")
altyo 0.4_rc17-linvinus1 dac5b86th

i3 config entries affecting Altyo (though no difference in behaviour when this line is commented out):
for_window [class="Altyo"] floating enable, move absolute position 0 0 px

please use built in hotkey for that , you may configure same hotkey under settings dialog ->key bindings -> Maximize-restore

OK I tried that now, similar issues but a bit different. If Altyo is maximized and I hit the toggle key to hide Altyo, it will hide as expected. But when I hit the toggle key again to show Altyo, it will remain maximized. Hitting the maximize hotkey does nothing. It looks a bit different though, see screenshot.

Here Altyo is maximized.

Tested with 0.4_rc19-linvinus1, issues persist. I am running Arch, BTW.

i see, do you use same key binding for maximize-restore action as in i3-wm?
if so, please try to use different key,
altyo by design strict window size for specific values, but action maximize-restore disable|enable this restriction to resolve conflict with WMs
also, usually for tiling wm users using stand-alone mode
drop-down mode and tiling wm is not ideologically compatible (i think)
