Reading a global var in the pipeline operation?

As per some other threads, I learned that I can set a random seed with the "indices[-1]", which enables me to augment the image and label in sync. However, I find it necessary to do a little more than that. I want to have some variations in the 2nd, 3rd, ... epochs. So, it is somewhat, I think, to seed with the combination of example index and epoch index. It is possible?

More specifically, is it possible that an operation (inside the generate_code) to read the next_epoch attribute of the data loader?
