Minimal version of numpy in requirements

Do we need to put some minimum version of numpy in requirements ? I doubt the binaries would work with really old numpy versions

the oldest version of numpy, that I was able to install (via downloading .whl) is 1.20.0 (for python3.9). With that, project is being built and installed properly. Also all tests are passing. Older versions do not have compatibility with python3.9, which is mentioned as the oldest supported version of Python.

Ok, now I get the Idea. But as I build pyamtrack with old numpy (1.21) and install and test it with new (2.x), everything works fine. Anyways I think It may come in handy in the future, so small PR with update of [build-system] requirements would be OK (I could do it). What do you think?

I think the most useful would be to add a solid matrix of tests with different version of numpy's (not only the latest one), like depicted here:

The idea would be for each version of python to make a test with: oldest compatible 1.x numpy, newest 1.x and newest 2.x.
Such test should be fired by hand, maybe after wheels CI is done.

For build system I would opt for "universal wheels" and use something like that:
