Challenger Coin doesn't work

So, I found this Challenger Coin potion on a Marisa run, can't seem to use it, including from the map screen ... little help?

Challenger Coin is from World Warriors mod, link below, the author of that mod has been alerted via Discord ... will close this upon fix posted. https://github.com/Clauvin/World_Warriors_Mod
