Broad Components of H Beta

I was wondering how to separate the components of H beta in the results files. I get the results of FWHM, sigma, peak, and area of one Broad H beta but I have put in 3 for gaussian fit parameters. I do not know what these numbers would represent in the fitting spectra plot in regards to the broad components of H beta. I am also fitting OIII lines and I am trying to figure out if the wind component of OIII is just a component of H beta or it is indeed OIII. I have tried to put in three separate sets of codes for H beta in various ways and none of it works. I was told to go into the PyQSOFit file itself and go through that code but I still haven't found a way to separate the components in the results. I hope this makes sense. My current goal is to find the results of both OIII broad (wind) components and OIII narrow (core) components and I just want to make sure that the broad component isn't one of H beta components rather than OIII.

Each broad component will be shown in red profiles. If three are set, but only one comes out, it means other two goes to 0.
Usually the wind of [OIII] is relatively broader than that of the narrow one, with a mount of blue shift. The blue shifted OIII winds are still very close to OIII, they are easy to recognize. Also you can set a shift limit for different components.

Hi, I was able to separate the H beta components as values that were printed into a text file. I was also able to do the same for OIII lines. However, now, I run into the issue of majority of sources having the exact same FWHM from the OIII wind components (red broad lines) after having a really good fit in the plot. I have been struggling with this because I cannot seem to balance between having a good fit in the plot and having different FWHM values of OIII wind components. Any advice?

I forgot to add to previous message. I have been looking at the sigma values since they are what determines the FWHM values and the fitting in the plot. I cannot seem to have a good balance. I know the maxsig is the maximum and thus, making all FWHM to be the same because they are capped. However, if I extended that, I lose the good fit of the graph. I am not sure how to proceed from here.

Hi, instead of opening a new issue I thought I would comment on this thread since my question is related.

I am fitting the Hb complex with 2 broad Hb, 1 narrow Hb, 1 narrow for each [OIII] and 1 broad wing for each [OIII]. The fitting is done simultaneously on these lines since it is defined as one complex in the create_linefile script.
I can retrieve the individual Gaussian fits from 'xxx_1_scale' etc., but I also want the combined broad Hb results in order to calculate black hole mass.

I was wondering whether 'Hb_whole_xxx' are the parameters for just the broad Hb (i.e., combining the 2 broad Gaussians in my case), and does not include any other component from the Hb-[OIII] complex. My worry is that since I am including a broad [OIII] components this will also be included in the 'Hb_whole' parameters.
