Audit and cleanup components introduced for hybrid learning features

To avoid regressions, we often introduced new components for hybrid learning features (e.g. thumbnails and cards used on the home page). This issue is to check the original before hybrid-learning components and merge them with the new components whenever appropriate. Also, it'd be good to check if we have some duplicate hybrid learning components since we were often developing features with similar elements in parallel.

Part of the card work should include considering the HybridLearningCardGrid and the various card designs within it see, HybridLearningCardGrid.vue

Points to consider should include: simplifying conditional logic (such as more sustainable/straightforward ways of determining the relationship between card display, current page, and current screen size) and potential, as part of that, reducing the number of card components used
