Feature Request: Add GObject Introspection (GI) Repository Support #51

Hello,
I am building a scientific piece of software in Python with GTK4 and was hoping to be able to use livechart in it.
From my understanding it shouldn't be to much of a stretch to add GI Support since Vala already uses the GObject system.
I tried adjusting the meson.build file in 39dfde7 and this did produce results (a gir and typelib file are now being generated), there is still some work to do to make GIO Support happen.
Unfortunately, this is as far as I can work on this though, as I'm not really comfortable with touching the Vala code itself.
