DOC: testing

We are missing tests; I suggest that we start with methods. Each method should have at least a small method. One method should test several input options (e.g. mraw, image based (different formats), video input (different formats)).

Test data should be carefully (short videos with low pixel density) chosen as the processing time can otherwise be high.
