In general there are a lot of bugs when you try to change things in different order as they probably don't send a bang to update the parameters.

E.g. if you toggle the external signal to "A" (1st option on the upper left radiobuttons), then toggle the trig/track, then switch from "A" to "-" or "12" you have to manually set trig/track AGAIN.
