What's about using Crowdin or Weblate?

Hello,
Could you implement a translation system like "Crowdin" (https://crowdin.com) or "Weblate" (https://hosted.weblate.org/) for MovieDex?
Both are widely used on GitHub by developers to help translate their applications.
I'm familiar with both platforms and would be interested in improving MovieDex's translation.
It's always easier and more convenient than having to submit a pull request.

Your proposal is to integrate such a platform so contributors can translate the app content without needing to submit pull requests, which we understand and appreciate.

At the moment, MovieDex doesn’t have an external translation platform set up, but this is definitely something worth considering.

I'm proficient with the translation systems of both platforms.

I'm French, and I contribute to translating various apps into French in my free time by checking these two platforms at least once or twice a day. This allows me to see if there are new elements to translate or if any changes have been made.

Looking more closely, I think the most popular apps are on Crowdin. Their system seems simpler to use and more efficient. Developers integrate translations into their apps much more easily and therefore offer updates more regularly.
As a translator, I'm more comfortable with Crowdin. So, personally, I would recommend it. 👍
Note that both Crowdin and Weblate are free.

For apps that I find particularly interesting (like yours 🙂) and that are currently only available in English, I've suggested adding them. This helps make the app even more popular internationally.
What reassures me is that many have responded positively. 🤗

Currently, I'm monitoring 32 projects on Crowdin and 22 on Weblate.

This would indeed make contributing translations much easier and help MovieDex grow beyond English-speaking users.
