Integrating RORs into DOI deposits

I want to get our ROR ID (for The Unjournal as 'publisher' of the evaluation, perhaps) included in our DOI records.

Is this something that would be possible to do via PubPub, either through the existing tool, or somehow editing the DOIs separately? I think this will help get our evaluation output seen in OpenAlex and other places.

Question: Does PubPub (Legacy or Platform v7) currently include contributor affiliation data — specifically ROR IDs — in its Crossref DOI deposits?

I'd like to request this as a feature...

In the meantime, is there a recommended way to manually enrich existing Crossref deposits with affiliation metadata — e.g., by accessing the deposited XML directly and resubmitting with updated contributor info? (I guess the answer is no?)

We're applying to get an ISSN (e-ISSN), which seems necessary to get into OpenAlex. Wondering how to include this in Crossref deposits for existing and future records.
